These are original lobby cards as used in movie theatres. A lobby card is an 11 x 14 inch placard advertising a movie. They were displayed in the theatre lobby to entice moviegoers to go to the box office and buy a ticket. These are in either good, used condition or brand new depending on whether or not they have been used at all. Please see description and list of any flaws (below).

THESE ARE THE ACTUAL MOVIE PROMOTIONAL ITEMS THAT WERE USED AT THE THEATER WHEN THE FILMS WERE RELEASED! This authentic lobby card (as issued by N.S.S.- National Screen Service) was printed in full color on a slightly heavier stock paper.

Lobby Cards
measure 11" x 14" and were almost always printed in sets of 8 (some lower budget movies only had a set of 4). Many lobby card sets (usually pre-1970 sets) have a "title card". A title card normally has artwork and the credits from the movie, and is different in appearance from the other seven cards in the set. The artwork is usually the same as that of the artwork on one of the styles of half-sheet. It is very difficult to find complete lobby card sets from pre-1970 movies, as almost all of these were long ago broken up and sold by the individual card.

I am not a self-proclaimed professional expert in rating items
but
I do call 'em as I see 'em in the utmost honest and fair way possible although it might actually be in better or worse condition as seen by you.
I have been dealing in movie memorabilia since 1975 and do have experienced knowledge on the grading system. I have noticed that some dealers differ in their opinions on conditions.
Notable defects:
* These cards have a some spotty
stains
in the lower right corner white border (not bad).* Card #3 has some creases in the lower right corner.
* As usual the image is fine, would display nicely if framed.
Based on your ideas of quality, this could be a candidate for restoration or linen-back.
Still a nice collectible, regardless. This will be sold AS IS! No exceptions. You will not be disappointed.

* You will receive these lobby cards (possibly) in a protective plastic slip sleeve but definitely sandwiched in between two pieces of cardboard.
*Tips*
When buying an Original Lobby Card(s) from the 1960's, 1970’s or 1980’s. Check the NSS #
National Screen Service
as it should always be printed on each card in the bottom right-hand corner. (There are certain exceptions.) If you don't see this, question the authenticity of the lobby card(s).
*Note*
Sometimes you won’t find these on independent films that weren’t printed by the NSS.
