Description
VINTAGE postcard of "History of the new High Bridge at High Bridge, KY". Stamped with a 1 cent stamp and written with a postmark in 1924. Divided back. White border. Published by Bagby-Howe Drug Co in Louisville, KY. C.T. American Art. #A-53416. "The highest bridge spanning a navigable stream on the American continent. The most massive structure of its length and breadth known to the civilized world. Height 315 feet. Length 1,223 feet."Photographed with flash and without so you could see image and condition. Please see all photos, zoom in, and feel free to ask any questions or request additional pics. It's now a 97 year old postcard which was processed through the mail so it has some discoloration, stains & slight crease on the front and back. One border has a nick in the side and area where the top layer has been pulled up and is missing, however it doesnt effect the scene of the train coming over the bridge. Pretty card suitable for framing! Nicely colored, bridge structure, and steam train. This is the actual card photographed so please zoom in for condition!
